North India

Climate:
The northern states of India vary a lot in temperature in the summers. Temperatures in the plains can go as high as 48°C and in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal, and Jammu & Kashmir, highs would be around 33°C. Winters are cold with lows dropping to 0°C in the plains, and -10°C in the mid-mountain areas. High mountain areas can have lows around -25°C.

Central India

Climate:
The central states of India have really hot, dry weather in the summers. Temperatures can go as high as 48°C. Winters are moderate. Temperatures can be as high as 30°C.

South India

Climate:
The southern states of India have really hot weather in the summers. Humidity is at its height in the summers too. Temperatures can go as high as 40°C, but with the humidity it can feel like 50°C. Winters are moderate to hot. Temperatures can be as high as 33°C.
